Robin's Nest Design Team Blog Hop

Black Glitter Spiderweb Cardstock 
Glitter Black and White Swirls 
Glitter Black and White Fleur-di-Le
Shadow  Box
Flower Stamp:  Viva Las Vegastamps!
Spider Stamp:  Stampotique
Inks:  Stewart Superior
3-D Crystal lacquer
Here is a video on how to make those 3-D flowers from Robin's Nest paper's - this video is using plan white cardstock  - But I made these flowers on this project using the same technique.

Steampunk Blog Hop

 Glad you join us on our Blog Hop...  I adore - did I say Adore - STEAMPUNK...  


Here is my first project I made it's a MINI - very Mini steampunk book

This is the inside of my mini book


Supplies:
All stamps are from Viva Las Vegastamps!
Glass Tiles:  1" x 2" from Sakura
3-D Crystal Lacquer
Small Gear
Inks:  Lots of Brown and light blue, olive, plum.....
Cream Cardstock

Directions:
1)  Cut cardstock to 2" x 8" - Start stamping steampunk images using different shade of brown, add a little "olive", "purple" and "blue" in there....  
2)  after you are done with all the stamping for the inside - score the paper every 1" across...  According fold....  
3)  Stamp more steampunk image on what would be the cover of your book.  I used my 3-D Crystal Lacquer to adhere my Glass Tile to my front and back cover.  Adhere small gear to side to look like a closure (it's not - just for look) - used my Crystal lacquer for my adhesive...

Festive Friday

It's Festive Friday time again...  Are you getting your Christmas Cards done with us???  I know this hop as so inspired me - in so many ways... We have been doing this hop since January of this year, and I have been getting so many idea and best of all, my Christmas Cards are almost done for this year. 
Here is this weeks Christmas Card

Supplies:
Stamps:  Viva Las Vegastamps!
brown ribbon
Metal Flowers
brown brad
pattern paper for background
white cardstock
color pencils - I personal love Fiber-Castel pencils
Black Ink

Directions:
1)  on white cardstock stamp both images.  color in image...
2)  matt image onto background paper
3)  add ribbon and metal flower embellishment.
4)  Done....

Festive Friday

It's Festive Friday time again...  Oh, how I love to make Christmas Cards..  and this year I dont' have to sit down and make them all in one day...  This amazing group of blogs has been making Christmas cards all year long with me..  How exciting...


Supplies:
Robin's Nest Paper:  Cindy Lou Dots - back side
Stamp:  Pointesseta, Merry Christmas
Dew Drop
Card stock:  Red and Black
Embossing Powder:  Black and Gold
Mica Paints:  UsArtQuest
Ribbon
Stapler
Bleach and paint brush
Miracle Tape

Direction:
1)  I stamp Pointessa onto black cardstock and embossed with black embossing powder:  then I take a paint brush and bleach all the area I want to paint...  After I bleach out the black paper I painted my image with Mica Paints from UsArtQuest.  Cut out image and added a few Dew Drop to  the center.  Set aside...
2)  Cut my "Cindy Lou Dots" paper to fit the background of my card - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" finished card size... adhere to card base with my Miracle Tape..  Can;t live without...
3)  Stamp Merry Christmas with embossing ink onto Red Cardstock and emboss with Gold Embossing powder.  cut image out...  Add ribbon with stapler...
4)  Now just adhere together with my Miracle Tape...  Super easy..  really like this one...

Festive Friday

It's Festive Friday time again..  Oh how I love this hop!  I can't believe I almost have all my Christmas Cards done for this Christmas, how exciting... 





Supplies:
Stamp:  UsArtQuest
Mica Paints:  UsArtQuest
embossing Ink
Black embossing Powder
bleach
Paint brush
Texture background paper

Directions:
1)  Stamp Image onto black cardstock with embossing ink, emboss with black embossing powder.
2)  using your paint brush - bleach out all the area you would like to color in...
3)  Paint image with Mica Paints
4)  Matt image onto Texture background paper
