Supplies:
Image to Transfer:  I got my image in my MailBox Muse kit
HandMade paper from:  Arnold Grummer's
Black Matte
Golden Paints:  Gel Medium
Water Bottle

Direction:
1)  Start by making your image transfer:
       a)  brush on Gel Medium to both the image and the paper you are adding the image too.  NOT too heavy, nice light even coat on the image and the paper
       b)  place image side down to paper you want the image to placed
       c)  Let dry
       d)  Spray water on image paper too get wet, take finger and rub off all the paper.  You image will remain on the paper you adhere too.
2)  after i was done transferring my image, It's now time to play.  I got my Niji Pearlscent Watercolor out and starting playing..  I spray my watercolor first and using my Niji Waterbrush (love them) to add color to my background.

I receive a large wood frame that one of the local teenagers made in shop class.  I placed a piece of cardstock behind the window opening and trace the oval shape onto the cardstock.  Then I paint the wood frame with Black paints.  set aside to dry

Starting to like this so far.  need more stuff...

Supplies:
stamps:  all stamp have links to purchase
Pam Bray's Halloween collection:   - the Cobweb around the outside of the frame, Tree,  and the three ghost
Pam Bray's Halloween Collection #2  - I used the Owl/Moon, and one of the Bats
Skeleton Plate:   - I used the Fence and the Skeleton
Create a Pumpkin:   - I used the Grim Reefer

Stamp the cobweb with White ink - love the way that looks
I used a pop dot behind the bat, to give the piece some dimension.

Creative Paperclay Link Up Party

I Just love Halloween and Creative Paperclay® makes me happy.  Here is the project i made

The Dress is Made of Creative Paperclay®  she is about a foot tall.  I painted the doll form with black acrylic paint,  Roll out the Creative Paperclay® and press a few embossing folders into the wet clay to get the owl and spider webs.  While the clay was wet I add it to the dress form and let dry.

I added real peacock feather and this cute little Owl

Love how the dress looks like a old tree.  I painted the dress with Burn Sierra Glaze and Black Acrylic paint.

How I hope you VOTE for ME!

One Last Moment with Summer

Yes, I know it Fall now, but I had to get one more moment in with Summer.  I am a Mixed Media Artist and I just love to make Art Journals and Yasutomo allow me to play with lots of different mediums.

Art journal - today I am sharing my Art Journal page. Sometimes I go all out with lots of layers with paints, inks, stamps, but there are those moment when you just want to make life simple.

I used the Niji 36 Oil Pastel and drew a tree, starting with a dark brown Oil Pastel and coloring in with a lighter brown color.  Used two shades of Green to make my tree top and grass, as you blend the two you will get more colors.

Here is the best part, as you might know Oil and Water don't mix, so with this in mind.   I got my Niji Pearlescent Watercolor set  and Watercolor Brushes  and start coloring in the sky.  Since water and oil don't mix, the water color did not mix into my tree or grass.  HOW cool is that.  love it..

I stamped this Bird image and Girl in the Grass, colored them in using my Gel Xtreme Rolls.  Love the way this looks

Just one more touch, I got my old Calligraphy Pen out and the Yasutomo Traditional Chinese Ink Ultra Black ink and wrote the quote "It's a summer thing" .
Thanks for stop by the blog today, stop by again.
