Christmas book

I just love to make mini books and the paper's from the Robin Nest are perfect to play with.

Here is the Front cover, I used the Christmas Tree Papers as an accent, I cut the tress out and added Dew Drops to them.  See How I used the Christmas Glitter Word Paper to add my Merry Christmas.
Here is a Side view of the book - Size of the book is 9" x 6" x 4" - this large side allow for lots of embellishments.  As you see I kept my simple.  I have too much fun on the inside pages.

There is a total of 6 pocket pages in this book, Each Page has three pockets for Tags,  You can never have too many tags to add photo or journaling.  Again I use the Christmas Glitter Words Paper to had the "December 25"  to my pocket
Here is a top view of the 6 pocket pages I have in my book, You can see also some of the tags.  I hope you stop by The Robin Nest store and see all their wonderful Christmas papers.  Did I tell you they are on sale???  20% off certain Christmas Paper's.  Stop by their blog also, to see more ideas.

Hope you have a great holiday

Well here is my Christmas Card.

I made the center of the card using Arnold Grummer Paper making Kit.  I used a napkin I found and made that napkin into paper.  How cool is that!?!   There is a Design Team call out for that company right now, there is a link on the top of this top one of the tabs.
I used a bottle cap from the Bottle Cap Company and one of their Christmas Image for the center and filled with Crystal lacquer from Sakura
I used some Mini Drew Drop from Robin Nest in the center of the flower.  The Gold Corner and Merry Christmas are stickers.

Hope you enjoy.  Now please hop on over to the rest of the Blogger blogs.  Here are all the links

Festive Friday #1

WOW, what a year, 2011 has gone away and now we are starting over....  It's a brand new year and a great time to start making those Christmas Cards - YES, I did say Christmas Cards...  I do this Festive Friday Christmas Hop all during the year.  On the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month (except Dec) I will host this Festive Friday Blog hop.  Where I hope to inspire you to make some of your Christmas Card early.  I know its seem crazy, but I really love having all different Christmas Cards for the first time ever...  So I have to do it again.
here is my first card of the year.
Supplies:
Stamp: "There is No place like Home"- Viva Las Vegastamps!
Creative Paperclay - you can purchase at Viva Las Vegastamps!
Mold from Articus Studio
Embossing Plate:  Tim Holtz
ribbon
Mica Color "Vintage" UsArtQuest
Memories Dye Ink " Sepia" - Stewart Superior
Miracle tape from Viva Las Vegastamps! - Can't live without this stuff - works so good on ribbons.

I just got a new set of Mica color from UsArtQuest called "Vintage" so I had to play with them.  Adore the colors of this palette.    First I embossed the tree image on top Cream Cardstock.  then I just started to paint.  I used the green color on the tree tops and the brown color on the trunks, then I added some of the blue around the edges.  LOVE.....
I had this Creative Paperclay Pointesseta  and paint again using the Mica Color from UsArtQuest.
Stamp "There is no place like Home" with my Memories Dye ink directly on the cardstock.  Added the ribbon with my Miracle tape.  the only way to glue down a ribbon.

Here is the rest of the team - stop by and see their  Christmas Cards too.  Your next stop is Leslie's Blog.

Hope you leave me some love.....
