Directions:

1) Play Paperclay into Face mold and Embellishment – remove from mold and set aside to dry.

2) While my Paperclay was drying, I started my card: Stamp “RoseLady” onto white cardstock using clear embossing ink and emboss with black embossing powder. Stamp image a second time on a second piece of white cardstock with Dark Blue Dye ink and cut out ribbon only.

3) Ran my “Rose Lady” image which I embossed tho my Die cut machine with the largest Nestabilities “labels Fifteen”. Cut out the Ribbon on the Blue Dye Image and adhere to my embossed image using my Glue Dots®

4) To my cardbase, I added blue cardstock and ribbon to the bottom and added my images using Glue Dots®

5) NOW Back to my Paperclay piece… after the pieces are dry, I painted both the face and embellishment with Twinkling H2O’s. The Face I did in a Gold color and the embellishment part I did in blue, then I added Drew Drop with my Micro Glue Dots® to the embellishment. Adhere my PaperClay face to the embellishment base using Memory Book Glue Dots®

6) I added the Skelton Leaf using a Memory Book Glue Dots® and added my jewelry finding to the back, add some ribbon or chain to your necklace and you are done with a great card and necklace for your mom!

Supplies:

Glue Dots®: Continuous Lines, Micro, and Mini

Cardstock – two color – use team colors – my sample is Black and Gold

Die Cut Letter: I used Punches from EK Success.

Sticks – I used Wood Skew – the one you would get for food.

1) Started with Team color Cardstock – Me that Black and gold. Steeler fan!

2) Cut a 12” x 12” Gold cardstock into 6” x 12” then into 4” x 6”. You should end up with 6 Pennant. Then cut each of the 4” x 6” square into Triangles..

3) I cut out different words for each of my Pennants: Including: “go Team”, D-fence”, Touchdown!, I did all of my letter in black Cardstock. I have letter punches that I used, but you can cut letter from what ever die cut machine you might have.. I adhere by letter with the new Micro Glue Dots®

4) Add ribbon to the edge of the Pennant with my Continuous Line Glue Dots®

5) On back side of Pennant (the 4” side), I added Continuous Line Glue Dots® again and adhere my stick.

This is a super easy project for your superbowl party this year. These can go into a large flower arrangement or just sitting on the table... Have fun..

This is a fun project to make for a road trip... The part for the doll can be put into a small box.

Supply List:

Glue Dots®: Micro and Removable

Stamps: Spirit Doll Large by Limited Edition, Grass by Stampa Rosa,

EcoArt Board: 8 x 10 from Rubberstamp Concepts

Ink: Memories Mists from Stewart Superior: Blue, Yellow and Green. Memories Dye Ink: Pine Tree Green, Indian Ink Black

Misc. Dies, Punches: My project show:

Dies: Green Tree Die and Fence Die

Punches: Small flower, small heart and small oval punch – all used on the clothing.

White Chip board or Adhere White Cardstock to Chip Board.

Directions

1) Stamp Spirit Doll image onto White Chipboard using India Ink in black. Cut out image and use small brad to adhere arms and legs.

2) Spray EcoArt Board with Memories Mists in blue and yellow on top to made sky and green at bottom for look of grass. Stamp Grass stamp over Green Memories Mists section using “Pine Tree Green” Dye Ink to add more details.

3) At this point I just start to have fun. I used a Tree Die from Sizzix to make a tree to my background, also was thinking about a white picket fence. I have a die for that too…

4) As for outfits for my doll. I used misc. scrap paper and free handed my top and dress bottom. I used both a small oval and a small heart punch to make the shirts neck lines.

5) After I made a few different pieces for my paper doll. I added Glue Dots® Removable Dots behind all the different accents I had made. Now, I can just play. Dress her in many different outfits. The removable Glue Dots® are perfect for this idea. Take this board on your next road trip….

This was a fun project to make. I think your daughter will have fun with this and maybe you will get to your destination without hearing "Are we there yet?"

Butterfly Frame

This year Christmas is going to be tight, my husband is being laid off on Dec 1st until March 1st. it's going to be a long 3 months. So I am coming up with idea for Christmas Gifts this year on a budget. I pick this frame up at the 99 cent store. It's so NOT my style. So off to my studio and see what I can do with it...


There was some green ribbon around the edges that I took off before this photo was taken. Sorry but had to go.... NOW. LOL


First thing I did was paint the whole frame with Black Gesso from Golden. Gesso is a primer! it's covers almost everything... Set aside to dry



Off to find a perfect stamp or two. I have these two fern stamps from PSX - yes they are older stamps but they are perfect for this frame. You can use lots of stamps for this technique. Ink up my stamp with Palette Stamp and GluePad.


To activate this Glue you need to heat with your heat gun for about 30 second.

Using a small soft paint brush add a very small amount of Accent Powders - you can mix your accent powder if you please. use a cotton ball to remove the extra powder

I stamped a few butterfly onto white card stock and colored in the image. I used watercolor pencils and twinkling H20'S


I personal don't like to cut out the annetas out on a butterfly - so i cut them off. and use wire to add them back on.. I cut a small piece of wire and fold in half and curl the ends

sorry this photo is blurry.... but you see what you wire should look like at the end... I attach this wire to the back of my butterfly with my Glue Dots...
I did make 3 butterfly and adhere them to my frame again with my Glue Dots. Can't live without them...

I love the look of the Accent Powder against the Black backgound.. This is more amazing in person. Wish you all could see it... Well maybe you are getting it for Christmas, you will just have to wait and see if Santa bring it for you. Have you been a good girl/boy this year????

DT Member - Glue Dots Tip #2

Time for another Glue Dots Tip
This one is for you stamps - I love my rubberstamps! Yes, I did say Rubber! but they take up so much room in my small studio. So here is what I do.
Tip #1
I try and purchase my rubberstamps unmounted. This saves so much money - now that $12 stamps is only $3. Wow just saved $9!
Tip #2
I remove my stamps that are mounted from the wood. This doesn't save money but now I just save space to purchase more (NO that was my outside voice) LOL

Now what to do with that unmounted rubber??? Do I purchase sticky back and remount them??? That's not save me any money! So NO!
Glue Dots has Removable Glue Dots.
so I
1) Put one or two removable Glue Dots onto the back of the Unmounted Rubberstamp and adhere to my Acyclic Block. and Just ink and stamp. When I am done with that stamp I just remove from Acyclic Block and place onto a Transparency sheet for safe keeping. This will last a few time, before you might need to replace the Removable Glue Dots with another.

Thinking out of the Box with Glue Dots

I love to think out of the Box and come up with new way to use a product. As a Dottess I was assigned to think out of the box with Glue Dots. So here I go.....



First Take two silk flower - I love to only purchase white silk flowers and I spray with My Memories Mists to add the color I wants.


After my Memories Mists is dry I glue them together with My Glue Dots


Now the fun part. I added a Pop Up Glue Dot to the center of my flowers I just Glue Dotted together.

Now add embossing Powder of your choice and color to the Pop Up Glue Dot. Remove the extra embossing Powder and Heat set with your heat gun
HINT: be careful Not to heat your silk flower too much. they melt.. So keep you gun far aways and just melt the powder.
