Fairy house

I have a old metal bed that was in my home when we purchase in 2003, I always want to do something cool with it.  So I decided to make a fairy village.  Start by putting some burlap on the bed and added soil....  add a few flowers and a glass mushroom or two.  BUT i need a house for the fairy to stay, my bff does thing with gourds and I seen this one in her collection and knew it's was my fairy house.

Started by paint my gourd with a Teal color.  Then I got out my Creative Paperclay and started adding windows and doors.  I want more,so i add small piece of Creative Paperclay on the side to made to the look of rocks.

Now it's time to have fun....  got out my paints and started to paint, added pink to the window and door knob, yellow inside the windows, painted the rocks to look as real as possible.  When I was done, I use a outside clear finishing spray.  But when i was done, i need a walk way, so I got my Creative Paperclay out again and made a few stepping stones.

Creative Paperclay Link Up Party

I Just love Halloween and Creative Paperclay® makes me happy.  Here is the project i made

The Dress is Made of Creative Paperclay®  she is about a foot tall.  I painted the doll form with black acrylic paint,  Roll out the Creative Paperclay® and press a few embossing folders into the wet clay to get the owl and spider webs.  While the clay was wet I add it to the dress form and let dry.

I added real peacock feather and this cute little Owl

Love how the dress looks like a old tree.  I painted the dress with Burn Sierra Glaze and Black Acrylic paint.

How I hope you VOTE for ME!

Blog hop - Pumpkin Pick'n Tree

I am so excited you join use on this Blog Hop.  I am happy with my project and I am excited to share it with you.  I hope it help you think out of the box and try something new.  I hope you check out the Design Team call for Creative Paperclay® while you were on that blog, you could be part of the next hop, how excited would that be???

I made a Pumpkin Pick'n Tree - complete from scratch, I had a blast.

Wire Form
I made a hand made wire form of a tree, then I covered the wire with Foil.
Add Foil then Creative Paperclay®

After my I completely covered my wire form with Foil, I started to add my Creative Paperclay®
I then flatten section of Creative Paperclay® into a bark texture stamp and added this to my tree.  Give my tree a look of bark (I did not cover the whole tree, I want this tree to look very old)
I then started to paint my tree with Acrylic Paints and added some REAL moss from my tree outside.

My Molds of Pumpkins.

I made some orange Resin by mixing Yellow and Red Dye from Allumlite (the people who make Amazing Mold Putty and Amazing Casting Resins) into my Casting Resin and pour into the molds, but I did add my string for my ornaments to hang from before the Resin set up.
When my Pumpkin Ornaments were set up (about 10 minute) I added some rub and buff and hung them from the tree.

Heading into Spring

Spring is one of my favorite time of the year, I love all the flowers and the smell of the fresh air..

I was in Hobby Lobby the other day and found this amazing Face mold (pretty large one) Had to have..  I love faces and knew i had to have this mold...

Brought it home and filled the inside of the mold with Creative Paperclay® and let sit set up over night.
I unmolded it the next morning and fill in any section that need to be fixed and sand the face smooth.  I just love how Creative paperclay® works, Great product....
I rolled out more paperclay and made three different size flowers I used 9 flowers total on my face...

After all the Paperclay was dry, I painted each of the flowers with the Terri Sproul Mixers and Painted the Face with Terri Sproul Mixers "Aquamarine  Pearl".  Adhere each of the flowers with Crystal Lacquer and I was done..  Just love the look of spring it has...
